Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Master Edition
CAPCOM CO., LTD. · Action & adventure
"Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Master Edition" is a set containing both the main game and the massive "Iceborne" expansion.
New quests, monsters, weapons, armor, story, and the unlocking of an all-new "master rank" await to take your hunting to the next level!
It's a grind. Can be soul crushing but it's worth it, trust me. I have hundreds of hours.
Sound design is beautiful and every monster feels like a unique fight, except lavasioth. We hate lavasioth.

A review of MH: World in 2025? Believe it!
If the newest game in the series, MH: Wilds, doesn't tickle your fancy, then take a step back to the generation before it.
That would be this game, Monster Hunter World. Like Wilds, it has expansive, lively looking environments. There's also things about it that are unlike Wilds, more or less artifacts of its prior generations, as well as what it does differently with what it brought TO Wilds, such as the slinger.
The game is best experienced with the additional Master Rank DLC, Iceborne, or the most that you'll have for your endgame will be tempered monsters and Kulve Taroth, which is still fine, because even if you go for the base game, you can always get Iceborne later on.
Even though I am loving playing Wilds, I still feel like World could be the best entry in the series overall, but that could be because World is complete, while Wilds has yet to even get its first title update. We will see where the most recent entry chooses to stand compared to its older brother!
