Planetbase

I love this game, but the learning curve is steep. When they say that you're just breath away from failure in this game, they mean it. Most of my issues has been with my medics not making meds and low morale making all but the biologists unwilling to do their jobs. the medics also seem to want to carry supplies rather than make meds. All that aside it's a great game. Just make sure to check out vides of this game before you get it. Also this game rewards long term thinking, high level problem solving and slow expansion, but never for very long. Be aware that in this game anything that can go wrong normally will go wrong. With that stuff said, have fun! 😎

This game is awesome I love it, its challenging and requires you to think alot, you have to build a base on a harsh planet. You run your colony and grow your own food and keep everyone alive by providing enough power , oxygen, water, food, medicine, metal, if you dont keep your colonists happy then you will never grow, which after all is what this game is all about , Surving and Growing.

I find this game to be surprisingly challenging and entertaining for how simple it is. Don't let the small number of planets to visit deter you because each offer new problems you must learn how to adapt and overcome. It's a delicate tuning of the knobs between priorities of work, ratios of colonists and properly timing when to expand the base while faced with constant set backs. The tutorial is a must to get going but is by no means all inclusive to what it takes to survive and thrive, which is refreshingly reminiscent to older style gameplays. A few small add-ons I would like to see in future updates would be; new arrival colonist ships display how many and what type of colonists are on board; the ability to build stand-alone hallways with turns; the ability to eventually split the base into more than just one continuous structure; and maybe a rover colonists/bots can load with materials to be delivered to a build site all at once. Overall a great game that is well worth the money.

This game will definitely keep you busy. A little bit of a learning curve, but not too bad, if you're used to this game genre. The tutorial could be a little more in-depth about the game mechanics, but you can look up specfics online. The colonists' AI is not very good sometimes, but it makes the game more of a challenge, I think. 4 1/2 stars, overall.

Only played through the tutorial and little bit on my own base, and already the complexity of this game is well worth the 19.99. But, like most city/civilization games, I like a little organization to things, thus the 'Grid' button. Grids make for neat, organized areas...THEN THE GAME CRASHED!!! Can't give 5 stars until that's not an issue, but good buy for the money!
