Prey

The original dev team should be proud of this game

I love this game. I played it when it came out, and thought I would give it a go again. Let me tell you, It still holds up. The one and ony complaint I have is that the plans for a sequel were scrapped. This game deserved more installments.

This game is under-rated with all of it's ideas and a small community loving it. I love Prey I just wish the sequel came out but at least we have the original in Xbox.

I happened to replay this game for the first time on the Series X, and it was beatable and ran great. I own it digitally and didn't experience any game breaking bugs at the end of the game like the other recent review said. The game itself still holds up well and now benefits from HDR too. The frame rate wasn't updated but generally was good during the whole game. I recommend it for action and sci fi fans. Its Doom meets Portal, and does that type of gameplay well.
