Cool artwork, music, and gameplay, with lots of progression to sink into. I really like how it's loadout-based, so you can start with your preferred stuff. Mechanics are both responsive and a bit forgiving, and it has a reasonably diverse array of basic combat actions. There's a fair handful of currencies that feels easy to manage, while still providing a broad sense of chase. It's yet another game(in a huge list of games world-wide), that's left being subject to the challenge of "a new commitment". It offers the valuable promptness of a game session's start-up, and also a constance of gameplay action. These two strong-points are an increasing importance for me in new games. Being able to have an understandable re-entry, and an immediacy of fun, while STILL harnessing both short-term and long-term progression and collections goals; That's a solid first lap in my eyes as the consumer. One sure thing I don't like about the game is Mr. Green. He sounds very pandering towards me.

The headline sums it up. It is clearly inspired by Hades with its own unique twist, and that's great. The characters, writing and VA can be kinda cringe sometimes, and the upbeat theme doesn't really match with the setting, but that's okay because the game doesn't take itself seriously. $22 is fair price for a game with a lot of replay value.

First run, made it to crane. Thought it was too easy. Next runs really upped the challenge with the Rivals. Lot more progression perks than I expected. Fun game.

Hope they make dlc cause this game is amazing

I enjoyed the callisto protocol, so i was stoked when I found out this was coming out. Pretty fun rouge like, love the art style.
