Redout: Space Assault

This one is pretty good...the missions are pretty linear and straightforward so there prolly ain't much replay value other than the fact that you can replay beaten stages if you are grinding to upgrade your ship more, but all in all, it's fun and challenging arcade style space shooter...it's a much needed decent ON-RAILS shooter, we don't see too many games like this these days...

Love the graphics and animation gameplay also.

The gameplay reminds me of starfox 64 with a simple upgrade system that does make your ship substantially more powerful over time. There are some hard crashes here and there, some achievements dont seem to track, and some obstacles are nearly invisible in the shadows. A few things need to be addressed but still solid overall.

Its an ok game definitely not great. I found myself getting bored pretty quick. Lots of just floating around listening to dialogue then theres the annoying tight spaces. The combat isnt great due to the fact that ya just press the button and dont really have to aim. Perhaps it gets as u go and if it does ill change my review.

There's 38 achievements for 1,000G. Good game and a fun experience.
