It's a pretty casual game similar to PEGGLE it's family-friendly with chill gameplay not too difficult, humorous, silly characters and story, mild RPG elements as you progress you get more powerups...it's not really my cup of tea, but it's worthy of 5 stars cuz it's overall presentation and playability is outstanding, if ya want a decent casual arcade/puzzler then here it is

68/80 Achievement review:
I usually save reviewing a game until I feel I've gotten everything out of it/I'm done, or if it's broken, but I wanted to exempt Roundguard because it's a game I feel I can keep playing. There are some lulls in gameplay like when you get stuck in a bouncing loop or you just want to finish the level, but otherwise everything feels satisfactory. There's more player control than you'd expect from what looks and plays like a rogue-like pachinko game. Relics are a great addition, the trinkets feel worthwhile, and the combat is surprisingly rewarding. There is an accessible easy mode from the start, and varying degrees of difficulty for a challenge. Overall, I wouldn't regret the 20 MSRP, and definitely don't regret the 8 USD sale price. Update: Down to 4/5 as with more relics I started consistently crashing at the end of runs which glitched 2 achievements. As well some deaths feel more cheap than earned.
