I played the game at a friend's place and will only play again for the super easy 1.
Controls are awkard, graphics are fine, and story is just Toy Story but horror. The check points are so far away it can cost over 10 minutes to go back. The horror is fine, glitches are there, pretty unpolished but its okay. I can't recommend a full price buy but on sale or bundled make it great, especially for achievement hunters.

Headache game
This is a first-person puzzle game that feels straight out of DOS point and click era. You're immediately flooded with 15+ items in the first room and instead of doing things that make sense, several events don't progress unless you do extremely arbitrary things. Also menus have maybe a 1 second delay every input and looking behind you literally takes 3-4 seconds, so everything you do feels way slower than necessary.
Looks nice and decent music. Just don't let the screenshots mislead you. This game is frustrating way more than it is scary.

So Close
This is one of those games I want to love. It has so many things I do, survival, resource management, unique unlockable characters. However, the game falls short. It isn't well balanced for the design. It relies heavily on proc gen with seemingly few cosiderations as to whether it's possible to survive. You go through levels looting randomized stuff. Often you won't get the right variation of items. You might get a level with two food when you need six for your characters to survive. You'll waste tools/stats unblocking doors to empty rooms. 2 enemy types can only be killed by looted items. Better hope you were lucky in your random drops to get them, else you die. Your health constantly ticks down when in presence of enemies. All your other stats tick down rapidly requiring you to replenish every few minutes it feels like. I like asurvival challenge, but this game is overly punishing and too reliant on luck. It could be so much better with some minor tweaks.
