Shantae: Pirate Queen's Quest

Risky's own little adventure is really well done. Her own abilities are unique from Shantae's so it keeps the DLC feeling fresh. However, she does share most of the same boss battles, but that's not too big a deal since there's a few more ways you can go about the fights with Risky's own skills. All in all, a very fun DLC campaign that feels like far more than just a retread of the game's base content.

Risky does not have a story, no interactive characters and this title is the same game with another character to play. It is not worth buying when you search the entire game with Shantae on your first run.

I know the turn off for most people is you go through the same levels all over again but you have completely different abilities and it's genuinely fun. Risky Boots game play is nearly the same as Shantae and the pirates curse game play, which is a beloved Shantae game. 10/10 recommend if you have the game already. Also Risky is verified mommy

very good u should get it

I was very underwhelmed with Shantae's move set when I played 1/2 Genie after recently playing Pirate's Curse. I found the Pirate gadgets in Pirates Curse to be way more fun and luckily this DLC brings those gadges into 1/2 genie Hero and makes the game far more enjoyable to me. Risky totally needs her own new game.
