SHMUP Mania (Xbox + Windows)

My only complaint: You should be able to hold the fire button.

Like Space Invaders. Short levels, decent music and generous achievements. For the price, it's a nice little time-waster. I appreciate how clean and vibrant the overall presentation is.

Play the first 4 levels a few times to earn 300 coins and buy the 5th ship from the in game store. Then continue on to level 5, the first of 5 boss battles. On the boss fights that are every 5 levels, focus your fire on the boss ship, not the small ships around it. The bosses will go down quick. Also, don't use auto fire, mash all 4 controller buttons to shoot really fast and heavy. And always skip picking up the powerup that is yellow and red, it's the default gun and will take away whatever fire power you may be using. I'm terrible at these types of games, but I aced it on Xbox and Windows for the achievement stack. It's easy.

Took only 40 minutes to earn 3000G. Plus, it was actually easy and entertaining, with a decent soundtrack.

Relaxing little bullet-hell game.
