So far i have had a lot of fun with this game. It has fun and challenging bosses, funny dialogue, and characters full of personality. This game feels great to conrol (either than the walljumps) and is definitely worth 20 bucks. The game also feels very open and there is lots to explore. There are also some sidequests to complete which are optional. Overall, this game is a blast to play and I would recommend it.

Pretty cool game with a major complaint that ruins any chance of getting 100 percent completion on the first run through. Once you go to Great Halls area and past a timing sequence, you can no longer return to anywhere to find missed notes or upgrade spells or weapon. Really dumb. Also wall jumping is all done with only the direction pad once you jump onto a wall which felt odd and took a really long time to get used to.

Im very early in the game and im really liking it. The art and music are really nice and a little different. The controls are not 100% perfect, but theyre good after a little bit of practice. Youre gonna die ALOT! Celeste type combo jumps with decent swordplay. Ill update after i get a little further in the game. I recommend it so far. The characters are charming and controls are simple to understand but difficult to master. The music is great. Unfortunately it's quite short with zero need to explore old area with new abilities. The lack of a new game plus compounds that feeling of brevity. I hate Flappy Bird but its in here just like every otther 2D platformer. Story was very predictable. Combat is a joke once you upgrade healing as you can almost stand still andout tank every boss blow for blow. Regardless I had a good time while it lasted. Seems like a great game to get your 10 year old son/daughter into the genre.

This game is really cool. I normally stick to big name titles, but this has been a great deviation!
