Skydrift Infinity

It's definitely Hydro Thunder with aircraft, which all definitely are fun in their own right. The controls are extremely unusual if you're used to more 'traditional' flight simulation controls, but are otherwise intuitive after a couple hours. Also the addition of the EDF VTOL from Red Faction as a flyable vehicle was a really nice unexpected surprise! Skydrift harks back to an age in gaming totally obsessed with being fun in the moment above all else, this game succeeds with flying colors in at this better than even some of the old greats did, and I feel confident Skydrift will be considered a modern classic in decades to come, it really is a rare gem of a game!

Love that it's only 1GB. Also found out you can create private match dogfights. Me and the bros all just downloaded and are having a great time playing this and taking breaks from playing just COD.

It's just plain fun.

The reviews that are calling this Hydro Thunder in the air are spot-on! Not only is that why I bought the game, but that's also why it's my favorite game in my decades old library right now. I haven't tried multiplayer just yet, but the solo mode is a perfect end-of-the-day distraction with just a slight learning curve on the controllers.

Some of the reviews said it's like Hydro Thunder and Sonic All Stars Racing so I had to check it out. They were right, it definitely has that feel. A lot of fun.
