Starfield Premium Edition Upgrade

Shattered Space is...good. Having been one who paid the extra at Starfields launch for it, I am fine with the price point. I had stepped away for a bit, this got me back, and I had fun. Not to mention there were other additions along the way added, which easily could have been locked behind this install in order to bolster it. They were free instead. So I am not going to whine about it. However, there is a certain magic lacking in this DLC. I love the theme, lore, setting, and a few of the new characters. It even had some really great moments. Unfortunately, it's just it felt underwhelming when all was said and done. I wanted a bit more, something maybe even off world to chase. The new adventure is definitely worth a play! I just might have wanted Bethesda to shatter their mirror, not just look at their usual reflection within it.

Maybe bc i preordered a millennia ago?

2 stars for the beautiful and vibrant planet they created to guide you through an excellent story. The other 3 stars disappeared along with any new companions, unique weapons or armor, and no new ship parts. I could go on but Im comfortable with this review being just as disappointing as this DLC.

For $30 you get - 1 "handcrafted" planet - 5-6 hours of gameplay - 3 new weapons - 0 new companions - 0 new gameplay features - 0 new ship parts - over 100 more loading screens It's no wonder they marketed this the way they did. Focusing only on the narative and world space. Outside of that there is almost zero new content. If you stack this up against any of Bethesda's prior dlc this is by far the worst value for your money. The fact that they have the audacity to charge the same price for this as Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty blows me away. Do not buy this DLC

Bethesda used to be good....... Until they took their own greedy arrow to the knee......
