Story of a Gladiator

In the details of this game it says 2 player local co-op VERY wrong there is no co-op at all also i tried refunding it 20 mins later after realizing there was no co-op and they denied it. After beating the story you are done, you cant play it again there a few upgrades and and nothing new after beating campaign overall very poor game AND false advertisement

No way is this a 4-5* game. There is barely enough to the game to warrant 3. Its fun for lil while ,but fails to last longer then a few hrs.

I love the "Gladiator" & especially the "Spartacus" references. It is a good deal for under $15, and I hope more designers realize a game made well in this genre (Roman Gladiators) will sell well. For this game it does have a Golden Axe meets gladiator feel to it, but that isn't that bad for the price. The grind required will give you plenty of hours of game play. A plus is game play is more complex than it appears on the commercial, much more so in fact. You can switch perks at will in-between battles to drastically alter gameplay style. Good job to the developer. Make a highly advanced game for "Spartacus" season 1 (Whitfield season RIP) and I'd pay over one hundred for that. Of course it would need to be FULL scale in nature. They had a pay to play one some time back but it wasn't even season based. I'm talking Full season one drama translated into video game form. That might not be a task for a small company, but shoot, merge, partner up,sell the idea. I'm glad for this game BUT...

Update 2: Forgot this game even existed for 7 years, saw ppl trash talked my review, guarantee the positive reviews are the dev and their friends trying to hustle.... Dont fall for it, in doubt message me and ill stream the gameplay for you so you can see it for what it is.... A .99 cent app at best. FYI had40👍 Update, dropped my rating from 4 to 2 stars after 2 hours playing and i took my time ive finished the game completely 0 replayability at this stage.... No story, few upgrades, seemed really cool at first but yeah, matches take 30 seconds and are boring, basically can beat the entire game using 2 skills, its very short and poorly made, spelling errors in main menus shows how much work was put into this game.... Infact as im writting this i get more upset and am dropping to 1 star, this game should be erased and redone, should take one guy a rainy afternoon to remake from scratch, this is not xbox 1 worthy at all... Doubt me? Buy it and play for two hours and tell me im wrong

It's a fun pick up and play brawler type game. I like the way they get right into the fight on each stage. There are some minor leveling up aspects. It also has a tournament mode with 15 waves of enemies. A tough and fun experience.
