SUPER BOMBERMAN R

A good blend of nostalgic Bomberman core-gameplay with a breath of fresh ideas breathes some new life into this quirky and charming addition to the franchise. The art direction matches the Bomberman feel and the soundtrack is actually quite catchy. However, the online component limps along very brokenly, resulting in a severe lack of an online presence leaving you spending more time in matchmaking than playing. Since online play was a big draw for me, I'm a little disappointed and I'm hoping they can iron out the kinks in the near future. I would still recommend this game to fans of the franchise looking to throw down in local play.

Online is laggy and if 1 player quit all room loose connection and everybody loose 100points.....salty players just disconnect intentionally....i had 400points,close to reach other league but 1 laggy room and 2 salty players i lost 300 points.....developer doesn't fix this like if a player rage quit then a cpu take his place

Playable and fun for the first 10 minutes but terrible overall. The "comedy" and voice overs are an embarrassment. The few characters you can buy with in-game currency are kinda cool but don't mesh well with the game itself. The achievements for using 1,000,000 bombs and destroying 1,000,000 blocks are major mistakes.(YES I SAID 1 MILLION. CHECK IT FOR YOURSELF) The campaign got very boring by the 3rd planet to where I really couldn't keep playing. Had. to do something else and come back to it later. I'm not trying to hate on Bomberman. Loved the lil guy since I first played on the ds. It's just that this version should be free or 10 dollars tops.

This game was free for gold and I feel like I should get a refund

it is about time! i have the previous bomberman games for xbox and none came close to the Sega Saturn one, where you would hook up the v shape port for a total of 16 players where all your friends would come over and have tournaments. that is what bomberman is all about, friends hanging out and playing in same room. excited to throw a few rounds with some friends over. only thing i am curious is says 8 local multiplayer, which i though xbox allowed only 4 controllers to be synched! for now 5 stars. will review and modify according my deeper experience
