Sword and Fairy: Together Forever

(Early impressions after a couple of hours) Combat is fluid and very fun. The settings are extremely vibrant and colorful without looking too cartoonish. While exploring the framerate is buttery smooth and the music is wonderful. Voice acting is pleasant, character models look great. Some minor flaws: Terrain textures, like rocks and platforms you stand on, can look very low-poly at times. The sound effects for walking and running are too loud and sound like your shaking a bag filled with sandpaper. Exiting a menu (map, inventory, etc.) causes the framerate to stutter and/or tank for a few seconds every time. Subtitles often go by too fast to read full sentences. Ensure you are manually saving often! The game DOES autosave, but it doesn't offer to load the autosave when you die; you'll need to exit out to the main title and select 'CONTINUE' to access the most recent autosave. When it comes to AA RPGs, I usually prefer Eurojank like Elex or Greedfall, but this is excellent work.

Although it's a linear game with no narrative choices. It's still a pretty good game. I enjoyed every minute of it. It has a wide cast of charming and fleshed out characters. The visuals and soundtracks are amazing. There might be occasional texture pop ups but nothing that ruins the experience. Please bring more Chinese RPG's to Xbox and Game Pass.

10 out of 10 because we went to the bottom of the ocean to fight the fire demon. makes total sense to me.

I do like it. Recommend turning up controller sensitivity though. Runs smoothly. Moves are fun. Crisp graphics but could be more ambient sound fx imo. The frame rate runs smooth enough. Did notice a couple of jitters but not much. Some shadow and texture pop ins but overall a very pleasent experience. Played on Series X.

Wonderful story beautiful setting well worth the price. Thank you for bringing this to Xbox.
