You can dodge cancel animations, upgrade weapons, and level monsters. You can change the difficulty and other rogue like settings in the pause menus when in the hub area. Unlockable gamemodes after the NG+ too!

It is better than I expected, solid controls, interesting story, pretty decent art. I'm very satisfied with this game. Update: After beating the game you get an amazing new game plus, I wasn't expecting that at all, and for the price, I like this game even more now. Recommended.

Ok i loved the music,enemies and art but i do wish we had more room on the tool belt

Story is a visual novel woven into the game. It's a good story. There's a great new game plus. And an alternate ending. And a grip of other modes like challenge, boss rush, level maker, shop, etc. After you finish the game. But you likely won't play anything after you finish the story. The 4 item belt IS ridiculous. On top of that, 1 of those is occupied by main sword, and you can't re-map it. Annoying cause B button doesn't feel right for it. They added 4 item bag but it's a poor fix & it causes other issues -Summons AI is braindead -Collected mats all game & didnt craft the entire game -Gameplay is so bad it's a chore -Overall just bare bones in everything it does I got for like $1 and that feels appropriate. Anything over 5 is too much. They remade this in 3D. It looks to have same problems. Music is 4 songs i think. But this mechanic of that has it play the first 6 seconds of two songs, back to back... Repeatedly 😒 Better gameplay & mechanics would = a much better game.
