After buying i can't access the dlc on my main save entrance stays locked even though I beat the game

First of all, despite what the trailer shows, the entrance to Lair of the Adversary, is NOT the entrance to the DLC. The sewer next to the Oreshaft Village market beacon and the gate next to the Blacksmith beacon in Warlock's Wilds are the entrances. You have to cut the Strings to access them though so don't end the game prior. Onto the review: this is a great addition to an already fantastic game. These are very much endgame areas as even with my character being well over lvl 150 by this point(I’m in NG+2 as of writing this), I was still getting my butt kicked and if you’ve read my review for the full game, I said it’s challenging but doesn’t fully feel like a Soulslike. I felt it for sure in these areas and actually raged a bit. 😂 The DLC is only $8 and the amount of content you get is worth twice that. My only REAL complaint is some gear you get is about mid tier. There are only a few that outclass them but considering the higher challenges, the stats aren't up to par IMO.

Adds three bosses, 2 kinda big areas,very reminiscent of dark souls 2. Can be played on a finished profile. I recommend. It to hardcore fans of this game, or even a darksouls fan would enjoy.

It adds on to the story. In order to access it, you have to cut the narrator's strings. It adds endgame content. One area in this dlc reminded me of sen's fortress from dark souls 1.

Great game until last update, it just dashboards when i try to open it. I have restarted and have unistalled and reinstalled. Will change rating after fix.
