The Shapeshifting Detective

This is a unique murder mystery game where the killer changes each time you start a new game. The real gem is that you can change into anyone you interview, allowing you to gain new dialogue and secrets from the suspects who aren't readily forthcoming with the detective on the case. But this makes for some seriously hilarious moments. Between B level acting and just wild stuff you can do disguised as someone else, I was rotfl. Now this allows for some seriously hilarious moments.

Incredible storytelling with a unique gameplay innovation that keeps you engaged. High levels of replayability. Great acting (especially Booth).

Great game. I play FMV games all the time. I loved all the easter eggs that I found , that's if you'ved played Dr. Dekker, Contradiction even Tex Murphy. Don't rush through this... lot of people complaining about short play time. I didn't move on to the next chapter until I shapeshifted and talked to every character.

Strange and interesting story experience. If you enjoy whodunnits, its definitely worth the money. Looking fwd to my next play through with different options and outcomes.

This is how FMV games should be done! Your decisions make a difference, the story is intriguing (mix of mystery and mysticism), and I liked most the characters. Some were way over acted but in an entertaining way. Some were way too creepy but still.. The mystery held my interest and I was able to work it out my first time round. Not too easy but not impossible until your 3rd or 4th playthru like some games. Loved the way it was formatted and written. Highly recommend 👌 👍
