Most mobile games remove them, this one doubles down. Almost accidentally purchased one because of the **** controls. Shame since it is fun otherwise.

Really fun but....
Fun for the casual zombie killer that doesn't expect too much, but micro transactions galore.

So much done well, but left feeling slighted
As stated, I like many aspects of this game. I'm surprised by the depth, knowing it's a phone port. However, everything is setup like a 'free to play' game. Problem is, it wasn't free. There's also the convoluted contols that, at times, seem designed to have you waste your precious few gold coins. I don't like the business model and I'll be very skeptical about any further purchases from Alda Games.

What's with these reviews?
Walking Zombies 2 is a game that took the tedium of MMO microtransaction F2P "progression" and did its best to mix it with your bargain bin Kongregate/NewGrounds zombie survival with a splash of C-list FPS story and gunplay. This. Game. Is. Monotonous. There isn't truly an "open world" let's get that right. You have 3 main campaign zones with linear missions between them, and an "open world" 3-5 equally linear explorable zones w/o objectives. The gunplay is basic. The story is a joke. The ACHIEVEMENTS by god what were they thinking? The "big 5" of their achievements will literally take 17-23hrs if you focused ONLY them -open 50k safes" in a game that gives you 0-1 per area. Btw, microtransactions AREN'T required, but they're SURELY encouraged as past lvl 35 it's an absolute grind for little reward. They could have made a good SP game, but instead they god greedy which resulted in listless monotony. 3/5 because there's a fun game hidden in here.

Made For Transactions
poorly designed mobile game that seems fun at first, but continues to ask you to review it, has terrible microtransactions that ruin the core reward economy, crashes from certain quests a few times, very repetitive gameplay, etc. Make a real game, not this mobile garbage that is purely designed to milk the player's wallet. This game had some potential to be enjoyable if greed was not the focus, but instead passion.
