As the lights go out, the embers of darkness are stoked in the sleepy town of Dormont. Confront uncomfortable horrors, keep your sanity in check and survive the night in this story-driven first-person psychological-thriller.

The slider?
When you boot up the game for the first time, you're asked to change the lighting with a slider bar. Unfortunatly the bar only goes up. Not down. As a joke I cranked the bar all the way up. I then realized I couldnt go back. You can't even change it in the settings. Please fix this

3 Endings, all 14 achievements... Final thoughts?
So I'll say this, its NOT a horror game. It does however have good endings. 1 major headache is the fact there is no hints on where things are or what to do. Game is similar to ROBLOX horror games, so not scary but can be fun with right mindset. Story itself is alright, but the transition from chapter to chapter is all over the place. Like one second you have a lighter running into a bright light, next your in front of a diner with no explanation on how you got there, or how you weren't being chased. My 3rd run for the last ending was 1 hour 9 minutes and 38 seconds timed. If you already know what to do, it's not a long game which is alright. Frist playthrough was around 6 hours with no idea on what to do. Id recommend for something to pass time and to have something different. Overall hopefully this was a good bit of experience and learning for the devs, and they continue with their passion on developing games.

TLDR; this game is something id expect from an ios game :(
Maaaan i must be missing something... Saw a review saying first 15 mins are the best? I couldnt stomach more than 10. I thought about holding out and letting the story develop and deepen but if where im at is the best it gets im dropping this game like a hot potato. The main charachter is the average "wOaH tHaT wAs wEiRd" and then immediately moves on and forgets what just happened type of horror game character. The shadow figures couldnt get a scare outta me if they spelled out my home address, and the puzzles feel generic "this is missing, find it" type beat. There isnt much mystery, as any would-be scary concept is immediately spelled out by the character. When you turn on the lights and the bad guys dissapear, the g guy is like "the light... makes them go away???" :O nothing is left to interpretation

A True Skip
If you LOVE bland walking sims with a horror veneer so thin it shreds on wicker furniture, this is for you.
