Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-shot Adventure

This game is simply a stand alone version of the Dragon Keep DLC from Borderlands 2. The reason this is a stand alone is because it was meant to be a promotion for Wonderlands. This game has 2 playthroughs, all 6 borderlands 2 characters, a level cap of 35 (you gain multiple skill points per level) and the full story of the fourth dlc. This game plays like Borderlands 2 not Wonderlands so if youre coming back just know that the game is 13 years old as of this review. Overall this game is great if you really love Borderlands 2 or you want a relatively easy 1000GS.

For around 10$ on sale you can get the full game of bl2 which this was a dlc from. The standalone basically isnt worth it unless you really really liked the dlc or its your first time playing which at that point you should just buy the full game anyways

This game was originally DLC for Borderlands 2. So, you're really far better off buying the remaster of BL 2 which has this 'game' within it and soooooo much more. Having said that, this dlc does stand on it's own pretty well. I picked it up despite owning BL 2 because, well, why not? Still, this is not something I would really want to see as an industry trend. Repackaging and repurposing previously released content is kinda shady. I probably would be happier about it if they had expanded on the original significantly or added a bunch of newness. They didn't. So, mixed feelings on my part about supporting this by buying it. I guess I would just say buy BL 2 instead.

This stand alone feels like it was cored out of Borderlands 2 and made to work. I've played the BL2 dlc and this. There's a very noticeable difference. The mechanics seem nerfed and the play balance has an awkward wall that makes me feel like an amputee victim with a ghost limb syndrome. I love and support the Borderlands IP, but this game deserved to be fleshed out more.

I didn't experience any bugs while playing. For 10 it's ok, for 5 it's great. You get it in the Handsome collection as well as BL2 anniversary but if you like Borderlands and you like achievements then this is a fair thing to grab, especially if you really enjoyed the BL2 DLC and wanted to jump right in with some perks and customization.
