Top Racer Collection

Back in the day in the 90s there was one SNES racing game that was always being played & that game was Top Racer Aka Top Gear. The three games were my childhood and with this collection perfectly done its nothing but amazing memories. Definitely worth the money. 😍😍

I still own the original Top Gear games on SNES and there are a few details missing or changed. When entering whichever game, they should've kept the games original intro and menu to allow all players to experience what some of us felt back in the 90s. The AI racers are more aggressive than I remember towards blocking you when attempting to overtake. The computer driver is a lot faster and smarter compared to the original which makes it highly more difficult for newer players to get a real feel of the game. Whenever you run into a racer, in the SNES version the driver screams out #$%! in recognition of cuss words and yells Let's Go! when you use nitrous. In speech bubbles of course. It's a excellent port and runs very well but always remember that it's the little things that count. Some never owned or played the original so I'm just filling in the blanks.

This is a great deal at $20, reliving my childhood playing Top Gear (Top Racer in Japan) on SNES just in the modern age. I think the Screen Filters really help drive the feeling home when you load in and the epic soundtrack starts for #1. Slick menu setup and multiplayer it looks like. I am having a great time.
