VENARI - Escape Room Adventure

Not really that great. Alumni was better. Some puzzles had no logic. Seasons? Out of no where with no hint? Super frustrating. Spent half my time trying to decide which cracks in the walls were the puzzles and which ones were the clues because everything blends together. There were some good puzzles, and the beginning was great. But I was pretty disappointed, and I play a lot of escape room games.

These are my initial impressions. Will update after playing more. PROS: The Old School feel is nice. Pleasing environment to look at. Some puzzles are easy, some take solid thought so it's a good mix. I'm curious about the story. CONS: There are not even basic settings. Controllers NEED sensitivity options as moving puzzles is aggravatingly slow. There needs to be better contrast on the menu buttons. It's very difficult to see what's selected. Basic settings needed in a QOL update: invert 'Y' axis, turn off motion blur, controller sensitivity. Could also benefit from optional captions for the documents for accessibility. OVERALL: 2 stars removed for lack of any settings. Seems like it has good bones and I'm looking forward to seeing what it has to offer. Devs, please give us a QOL update with settings.
