Void Bastards: DeLUXe Bundle

Got on sale with the DLC and had a lot of fun. I don't get what everyone's saying about replayability, I've played it all the way through multiple times and the challenges bring a lot of new life into the game. I still hold one gripe, though, and that's the lack of save files. Either beat the game or override your current save, those are your options. Regardless, it's still one of the most fun games I've played on Xbox.

Different type of rogue-lite game. Love the art and gameplay. Can't play for long periods of time as it makes me dizzy but that's probably because I'm a older gamer...

The game has a great asthetic and a very unique art style. It was challenging, mostly at lower depths, but didn't feel unfair. The only problem i had was that the game feels a bit repetative after a while, but I still enjoyed playing it.

After spending a decent bit of time playing the game, I can say it is all around really fun. It uses many systems that work well together rather than loading it down. I really enjoy the depth system which makes sure as you get further in it remains both diffrent and more difficult. The combat mixed with the sneaking goes really well together and helps seting traps extremely rewarding and fun. Overall a very fun game worth purchasing or downloading via gamepass!

I'd rage quit on occasion. "Fvck this game," I'd say. Then I'd play again hours later or the next day. It gets old after awhile. And it does get better when you get further along. You're expected to die outright; new characters replace the dead ones, you get different traits but keep all your craftables and upgrades. It's fun and occasionally very challenging / demoralizing. You arrive on derelict craft and have to turn on the generators, watch your oxygen supply, and navigate to the helm of the ship to download the ship's schematics all while avoiding hazards and scrounging for loot. Confusing at first. Crafting menu isn't intuitive. Whatever. Happy I beat it and crafted all the upgrades. Try it if you like shooters. It's pretty good overall.
