Vosaria: Lair of the Forgotten

Really wanted to like this game but the fact that you cannot make a regular jump and must continually use the invert mechanic is frustrating to the point the game isn't enjoyable. Why is there not a regular jump in the game considering other games (I.E Bloodstained) that have invert mechanics allow single or even double jumps?

Like VVVVVV with combat. Its unique, fun, and cheap. Music is alright. I could make it better 😜😎. This dude though made Shalnor Legends, which is another damn fine game. Definitely recommend it.

I wonder what game(s) some of these people are actually reviewing. Only 1 boss that is at the end? What about the 1 at the start? Easy, beat it with only 4 deaths, sure you did.

I bought this because it was under 4 dollars and I gotta admit I was pleasantly surprised. I dig the atmospheric midi music, the jumping mechanic gives battles a fun tactical dimension, it's all and all just cool. My only complaint is stages don't have check points and they can be really really tough and if you die you're going back to the start

Vosaria is a great indie game that is difficult but fun. It does have some sections that might look impossible, but with a bit of memorization you'll be able to do it. I recommend this game to any player that has tried games like vvvvv, the reason is because there is no jumping perse in this game, you either walk or walk in the ceiling. This mechanic will take you a bit of time to get used to. Also as I mentioned memorization is key since there are some sections that are not visible when changing from floor to ceiling. You'll have a good time with this game (sometimes with frustration but a good time overall)
