What Remains of Edith Finch

This game is one of the best demonstrations I've seen of how video games can be their own effective ways to tell beautiful stories. Like movies or books but WAY more interactive. You feel like you're actually there and living these characters lives. I wish more people saw this side of gaming because it would lessen the stigma that it's a waste of time compared to other art or entertainment. Needless to say I finished the entire game in one day, It's that good. Everyone should play this at least once, even if you're usually only into fast-paced action games. It's so good, just make sure to bring some tissues.

If you're mulling over whether or not you should play this game, I highly recommend That you do. I'm not the type to play this kind of game but, incidentally, I found myself completely engrossed in the game from start to finish. In short, this is a story game which encompasses a culmination of profoundly beautiful yet tragically sad short stories. I can imagine myself frequently revisiting this game on rainy days. What's more, the soundtrack and artwork are absolutely astounding. You are by no means frittering your time nor money buying this game. This game is relatively cheap and can be finished in about 3 hours or less. In all candor, this is probably one of the most poignant and evocative games I've ever played.

I will never look at video games the same way again. Beautiful, passionate, scary, thrilling, sad, intense, heartwarming. I haven't felt this many raw emotions since I was young. Didn't even know I had that many feelings left to feel.

This is more an experience than a game.

If you're a dad and tired of all the fast-paced shooters, GET THIS game. Trust me. If you're a kid who has a gaming dad, GET THIS game for him. It's unlike anything I've ever come across. Simply too cool to put into a review. Very relaxing, and totally amazing, immersive and fun. It's so refreshing, and you can kick back and just play it withOUT having to go look **** up to advance. Perfect for a rainy day on the couch alone. You won't be able to stop. The best part of this game is the story. It keeps your interest throughout. FYI, I just finished it, and this is the very 1st review I've ever made here on XBox. It's THAT GOOD.
