No killing, no rage. Just awesome music & wonderfully painted realms for you to explore & awaken with color & happiness.
Newt One aims to relax the player rather than thrill or excite. I found myself blissfully smiling most of the time, & even humming along with all of the lovely tones it has to offer. The controls could be improved, but everything works soundly (teehee) & it leaves you feeling much more calmed down than when you started. An easy go-to for when you've had a long, rough day.

Absolutely loved it!
Its a short 30 minute game but i don't mind because I got it on sell for 1.99 and I loved the story very relatable I felt like that in my previous job working front desk at a hotel by myself and now im back to being a courtesy clerk at safeway I couldn't be more happier its not about the money for me, my mental health comes first also that and i wish i was a kid again 🥹

Warning: useful review
This was by no means a highly immersive or polished title, and the initial release was rife with glitches and sloppy controls, but I really liked what it was trying to be. A brief foree into the mind of a young woman dissatisfied with life, wistfully reflecting on the unfettered freedom of her childhood, whose memories are represented by a series of simple platformer mini games and Captain Toad-esque puzzles. Unfortunately, writing-wise, these childhood memories are too personal to be widely relateable, and the final epiphany is too melodramatic and contrived to serve as much of a payoff. Still, when I stop to realize that this was the creation of a dev team of three people, I'll cut them some serious slack. (Note: as of the writing of this review, patch 1.1 is in and the vast majority of glitches and controller issues are fixed.)

Beautiful but broken!
I loved the vibrant colors and layed back feel. It was simple and didn't try to be anything but turning a dull world bright n beautiful. It's a game to just lay back, play n chill. My minor gripe with this game was the icy feel jumping and unless you are spot on you'll die, A LOT but, once you master it's much easier.
My major problem n from the many other reviews I've read online experiencing the same is achievements not popping n having to delete n reinstall which i can say is true. I have everything found, freed and unlocked and despite that 'the magic on clouds 9' achievement won't pop even though i have the cloud wand along with all the others!!! So becaouse of this I'm stuck at 950g and can't get all 1000g unless i delete, reinstall and replay everything in hopes it unlocks which to do has now become a chore n from a lot I've read doesn't always work... Until fixed i give what i gave and if they patch will rate 5!!

relaxing easy gamerscore
Newt One is a very relaxing and colorful 3d platformer. You basically travel across levels adding color to every surface, object, or bird in your path. You can earn new abilities for the level like drums that expand your coloring abilities, wings that provide farther gliding, and a wand that automatically changes things colors. I was able to complete the games achievement list with no guide, just by being relatively thorough. It was enjoyable overall, a great game to play while listening to music or podcasts. I didnt care for the icey surfaces and jump timing is often times frustrating. Still don't be detered, Newt One is worth experiencing.
