WRATH: Aeon of Ruin

The Quake inspiration and gameplay is solid but this needs a bit more time in the oven. Enemies walking in place after dying, projectiles and artifacts freezing in midair, unbalanced difficulty and bugs blocking game progression.

If you love Quake! You will love this. But why the engine change to the Unity Engine?! I'm disappointed you guys didn't use the quake engine like the pc version.

Awesome boomer shooter that reminds me of Hexen (we need a Hexen remake/remaster). Runs buttery smooth except when a lot of enemies are onscreen (framerate tanks), I just hope they can patch the sudden random hitches as it takes away a bit from the fluidity and can be distracting and annoying during combat. As much as I want to play it, I won't unless the hitches and framerate drops are fixed.

There is a progression blocker on the mire level when trying to get the red key. Please fix devs. (Edit) i found the fix on the mire level. When you call down the platform originaly the red key is supposed to come down with it.... But it doesn't, what i did is when you look up and see the red key that is floating in mid air just get underneath the key and shoot it a few times and it should fall and drop for you to pick up. I did your job for you devs!! Im sure some people will look at the reviews seeing if its worth buying or not. Yes it is (if you're a big fan of boomer shooters like me) knowing that i found the biggest progression blocker on this port without the devs playtesting, or approving themselves. Be better devs on your ports!!!

Great game, feels like Quake but with more focus on exploration. The combat is great and the enemies are hard and scary.
