X-Morph: Defense

Brilliant new take on tower defense. The ability to move towers is great, but it really shines with destroy-able environments that also block the enemy path. The game gets pretty challenging fast, and the sheer damage and mayhem on the screen is very satisfying. Highly recommend!

Not your typical indie game! High quailty, highly polished and superb game mechanics. i can honestly say this game had grabbed me by its claws and did not let go until i finished it. i am currently still playing at least once a day and in-between other game sessions. now, i own alot of games and always have a handful of the latest triple A games to play. well lets just say that this game was my goto game until i finished it. i had more fun playing this than the last 4-5 big budget games that just recently came out!

I love the hybrid gaming of twin stick shooter and tower defense. The enemies are smart and it takes even more smarts on your part to pass each level. I love it and even the destruction is fun to see.

Overall you will like this game if you like Tower Defense. Requires a bit more effort vs typical Tower Defense games due to the "Eye in the Sky" having direct influence in the match. Only real gripe is the number of Levels. Not a whole lot when compared to say "Defense Grid." Actually that's unfair DG 1 and 2 have so many more it's not even funny. Game ending leaves room for DLC/Sequel so we will see I guess. Only other gripe is the Voice overs from the enemy troops. If I'm fighting in Russia/Asia I'd love to hear the native tone, not the same typical voice guy who sounds way too young to be doing much. General was decent enough in the voice over. Only one Crash while playing but thankfully there is a checkpoint system in place so only a minor issue. Soundtrack is pretty good. Honestly I'd give it a 5 Star if it were longer. If the DLC drops and is good (long) enough I'll give it an easy 5. Either way it's a solid game that will leave you craving more when you finish the story.

What you would expect, but you also control a fighter craft. Chaotic, explosive fun. Worth the price. 👌
