Alfred Hitchcock - Vertigo

Owing at least as much to Spellbound as to Vertigo, this does have a Hitchcock feel including a Hitchcockian, or possibly a Bernard Herrmannian, soundtrack. This is story oriented and so is on rails. I was a little put off by constantly playing different characters but it is a good story. Be aware that you must do things in a particular order. I became stuck when I delayed dealing with the cat until after I had dealt with Ed. I had to go back and repeat a portion. Overall, a good story.

I really enjoyed this game - music definitely reminded me of a Hitchcock film. Loved the animation style - and loved the cat most of all 😍 Appears to be one that can be played through a few times, as you have multiple options on how to respond in each situation, which could net different results. Will test this theory in the near future. Highly recommended! ❤️

Despite my concerns due to the weird idea of making a game adaption on Hitchcock's movie, the result is remarkable. The story is gripping, has some nods to the movie but completely standalone. Also might be the best game I played from Pendulo studio, can't wait what they'll do next.

A big step up in game storytelling. Felt really invested once things picked up. Too many loading screens and some slow pacing problems, but they don't detract too much from the overall experience of a true next gen interactive thriller.

Story heavy and minimal gameplay with some exploration and a lot of quick decision making but damn what a story. It's dark, gritty and keeps you guessing and deals with a ton of hard issues well without any editorial immersion breaking. Was like playing a mystery movie, highly recommend!!! Pendulo does it again!!!
