Great music, good gameplay, worth 8 bucks

It's like they got together and said "let's take PARODIUS, EARTHWORM JIM and TOEJAM & EARL and mash them all up together...I'm not sure how else to describe it...

I was on the fence about buying this game after reading all the posts saying campaign save function is broken, but decided to play it anyways because I'm a sucker for shmups, and honestly this game is fantastic! It's like METAL SLUG and GUNBIRD had a baby and that's not a bad thing, the style is very unique and interesting, although it's a little quirky and cartoonish in style, it plays like a serious bullet hell shmup...each of the five characters to play as have a unique style the scoring system is a fun and rewarding grind, each stage tosses several multi part bosses at you, providing a considerable challenge...as far as shmups go, this one is well worth the modest price, it's nearly flawless

This is actually an excellent indie game. Smooth controls, RPG powering-up elements, great artistic style. But this game wont save your progress after a certain point. And several achievements wont unlock after meeting the criteria. Devs, please fix this! This could very well be a diamond-in-the-rough indie game (and its quite hard to find quality indie games these days). But for now, if someone cant beat it, why should they buy it...
