Arcade Spirits: The New Challengers

There is nothing to actually draw you in, the characters are just one note paper weights at best. Just dont waste your money

On Xbox, and in gaming in general, there's not a lot of options for pronouns or really love interests in dating sims. However, this game provides you with plenty of options! I do prefer the cast of the previous game, BUT that did not stop me from enjoying Jynx, Grace, Zapper, Rhapsody, and Domino, but especially Locksley. He was my favorite part of the game. I like rock, paper, and scissors as much as anyone else, but I was fully engrossed in the story. I felt it was a bit rushed, but at the end of the day, I did not regret my time spent on this game. Locksley for loife!

Ranch Zapper best girl. Thicker than an oilbarrel full of oatmeal.

Easily better than the first. The story was intense and heartwarming, with the final chapters being one of the most insane and unexpected moments in the VN. The characters are amazing and lovable, each brimming with spirit and personality. The music is exquisite and the art is very colorful and detailed. The writing for the story is really good, filled with quirky comedy and heart-felt moments, mixing that with the talented cast of VAs who put so much passion to their voices, and you got a perfect match. To sum it up: The New Challengers is one of the few games to me that defines a perfect sequel. Fixing on any problems it made from the original game and making it better. So give it a shot!
