Bloomtown: A Different Story

Don't fish on the first free day (thurs) without progressing further, got stuck in place

I enjoyed my time with this turn-based RPG. The story is nice and the world is fun to be in. Combat is alright but a bit simplistic: you see that the enemy is weak to poison, so you pick the poison attack. It's got a decent runtime, taking me 23 hours to beat, but there's no replay value here. You also cannot manually save (must rely on autosave) and there are a ton of missable achievements due to this. Also no New Game+ and you cannot continue playing after you beat the game.

It fills that itch, anything close to Golden ☀️ I want it. Combat can be slow, especially while Capturing. Save-scum for that 30% Spell Chance, I was stuck with 1 team mate doing all the Damaging Spells cause I didn't know any better. I haven't noticed a Time-Limit so spent time with your team and work for that extra cash, it's worth it if you want the game to not be ''hard-normal'' early on. I'm currently in the City for the 3rd event and only experienced 1 loading screen bug (after 2nd key, skipped that day and it was fine). Keeping an eye out for other bugs listed in Reviews. Overall, I like it. I will play a 2nd time now that I understand the mechanics. Not 5⭐ cause I stopped using 3xDamage Spells due to waiting for the animation was a drag, especially when I kept missing AND there's no free Saving. I understand why, but at least at the house. Has Earthboud flavor, Stranger Things story, and Undertales charm. Loved it!

If you're a fan of the Persona games give this cute game a shot, it's well written and the music is great.
