Avowed Premium Edition

I've been a fan of Obsidian since New Vegas and was pretty pumped to hear about Avowed. It goes some bad press and reviews early on so I dismissed it at first. Saw it on game pass and subbed to play it. Turns out its really great. Not a masterpiece but a very good and fun basic RPG. I was hooked very early but less so towards the end where I felt all my perceived agency I had in the game served no actual purpose. Still it was fun that they give you a wide variety of attitudes, political choices, etc to role play with even though they weren't actually meaningful. Hope the studio does well and continues to release sick RPGs.

Im a huge fan of Rpgs especially the ones with ragdoll physics, idk it's just hilarious to launch anything with just 1 swing of a blunt weapon.

I am having a fun time playing. The graphics feel like im inside a painting, the combat is fun and a steady challenge on default difficulty. There is a wide variety of different weapons, the weapons can be upgraded with items or scrapped to make upgrade items. There are unique weapons and armor each with added effects. Plenty of hidden treasure chests to find and places to explore. 3 classes that are played as one, very versitile, just put skill points into one, or all 3, it's up to you how to build your skills and they can be reset with coin. The story is ok, gods, lore, action combat, cool spells, grenades, followers with skills to tell them to use and unlock, sneaking with backstab, enemy weak spots, guns, and parkour! The only thing I would change is to have mobs respawn after you kill them, it eventually becomes empty with nothing to kill.

The Wheel took us from another place and time to be heroes once more; Envoy Spellblade Shepard and Fish Garrus are here to save the world. (Has some glitches and writing issues/inconsistencies. Wish there was more NPC interaction. Also: why have a giant world map but just a handful of areas actually explorable?)
