Buyer Beware!
If you've already played this game back in the 360 days, then you know how great the series has been. However, this game has a serious issue that needs to be addressed. Im playing on an Xbox series X and at the time of writing this review there is a serious performance issue. The game looks and plays great, but when i started my first play through i encountered a crash while still early in the game. My save file got corrupted and lost a little over an hour of progress. Annoying as it was i set the game aside to pick it up again tomorrow. I picked it back up the following day and made it to Arcadia. Before i finished the mission i saved my progress and while I was saving, the game CRASHED AGAIN mid save and took me back to the dashboard. I loaded it up again and lo and behold my save file got corrupted, AGAIN. Game only autosaves at the start of each mission, no other checkpoints, nothing. I don't normally write reviews, but i feel compelled to warn others of this issue. 2K FIX THIS!!!

Fantastic with flaws.
Played this game dozens of times. One of the best game worlds out there. Story telling and voice acting are Oscar worthy. You really get drawn in. Remaster looks great but it came with some jankiness that its 360 predecessor didn't suffer from. Frequent crashes on both the One X & Series X. That crash where the screen freezes, you hear an intense audio buzz, then crash to the dashboard. About 3 or 4 times in a 4 hour session....seems to be triggered by your character nearing a door...as it begins to open...CRASH...so save often!!! Also, playing on hard or survival seems to disable achievements. Made it all the way to Arcdia and the only cheevo that popped was Welcome To Rapture. Started over on Normal and they all started popping as I got them (confirmed this across three separate profiles on two different consoles). Security bots regularly fly directly to the nearest wall and stick to it like glue. Otherwise, fun game. Remaster looks better but the 360 was a more solid experience.

Great game, beware series x players
I had no crashing or bugs, but all of the reviews i see talk about crashing and corrupted save on series x and xbox one. But i played the whole game plus more and had no issues on my series s, also using quick resume. 10/10 game
