BloodRayne: ReVamped

Set before and during WWII, you play as Rayne, a half vampire who travels across multiple locations to put an end to evil threatening the world. Rayne's vampiric abilities such as jumping high and feeding off of enemies blood to heal, will aid her as she uses blades and guns to defeat her enemies, both human and monstrous. More abilities and combat moves unlock as the game progresses. Having played this on the original Xbox, this ReVamped version does a good job of bringing the franchise to a new audience. For better or worse, everything has been left intact from the wonky controls, you get use to them, to the dismemberment of enemies and the cool cut scenes. The newly added achievements will be easy to get for veteran players because they already know what to expect from levels and bosses but for new comers, this game can be tough. Restart the current level upon death as there are no checkpoints. Best tip, feed your way through a fight. Overall, replaying BloodRayne was still fun.

Absolutely amazing atmosphere in the game's OST, art direction and even the very odd controls (once you get them tuned to your liking, etc) it just plays different to other 3rd person shooter/platformers. There is some jank but it's not enough for it to ruin the game, hopefully BR 3 can be a thing.

Fun but it keeps freezing after about 20 minutes of play time. To help fix this, lower display resolution in xbox settings before launching game, but even then it will still freeze/ crash sometimes. It doesnt matter if i play while online or offline, still always freezes at some point. Do the devs even read these??😒😔 Everything is up to date btw, my console and the game itself of course. Playing on Xbox One X btw, which the game is enhanced/ optimized for!! even people playing on Series X/S have the same issue. PLEASE FIX THIS!! JUST BECAUSE PEOPLE BUY YOUR GAME LONG AFTER IT COMES OUT DOESN'T MEAN IT'S IN GOOD PERFORMANCE!

It needs a Xbox Series X and S update.
