Cave Digger

Definately for a particular audience. If you want tight, well stacked mining/grinding mechanics this isn't for you. If you want an indie game full of secrets that slowly evolves and expands into unexpected kinds of gameplay, you'll probably like this. Absolutely my thing. Starts feeling a tad generic but becomes a sort of "figure out how to unlock the next area" sort of game. Only serious complaint is that areas you pass by with the train can be a bit empty, so it's only worth exploring near the main stops.

For 2 bucks (it was on sale) you get a simple goofy mining game with a surprisingly large world to explore.

This game looks like a grind, duh it is. But unlocking new tools and areas is not a boring grind. It was fun. I really enjoyed playing this game. This game will hook you in if just play it for an hour. It starts out in an elevator but there is a whole world to explore.
