Winter Burrow

This is why I still game at 55+

I don't normally pay for games I play thank to GamePass. This game I will be buying Wourth buying especiallyif found on sale. Cozy game with easy mechanic. Music is nice. Dread of your toon freezing is always present. Hard to know where you should and can go. So alot of exploring areas. No one ever scrolls down and reads reviews. So this is just me writing now. I think it time for me to find a new job. Change things up some. I got like 5 years left befoe I just don't care anymore. Hopefully something will call me soon. Maybe go back to doing IT. Who knows. Well back to the review. Buy it Don't. I think its a buy. Solid 3+

Cute, simple game. Get quest > gather materials > craft quest item. Kid-friendly.

Plays like a less intense Don't Starve. No combat or insta-death at night. No map either, which is kinda annoying, but not getting lost provides most of the game's challenge (there's a footprint mechanic that tells me this was a choice). The art is beautiful. My biggest concern is that it seems like it may lack a ton of depth outside of the"venture out for supplies" loop. Game is solid so far. May adjust review after more play time. Y'all's obsession with Sweet Baby Inc is weird af. Imagine freaking out over "DEI" and the game is literally about mice. Not even gonna address y'all who hate any little indie game they dare add to GP. *Update* There is combat. It's fine.

Winter Burrow is a beautiful hand drawn cozy game with crafting, exploring, and adventuring, and surviving the cold winter. The story line is interesting as you adventure your way back to reconnect to your Aunt.
