CONSCRIPT - Deluxe Edition

As someone who loves history, it is blatantly obvious that Mr. Mochi has a passion for World War 1. I love the fact that a ''survival horror'' game exists where I can use a Chauchat LMG and a Lebel 1886 among other weapons. I also love the trenches and the soldier's uniforms. I wish more developers would put the same love and care in their games! As someone who loves gaming, this game was a phenomenal experience and tour de force that did not let up! I loved the little detail of having to cycle rounds on non-auto weapons and chapter 6 was truly a master class in atmosphere and tone. That being said, no one smokes like Gaston and rats could've won WW1 for Germany!

This is crazy. How can a single person deliver one of the best indie games of the year?

This game is amazing (so far) in fact its so good i took the time to write this, With a controller. If you are a fan of the first world war, or old school horror games, you should definitely try this one out. And the cool thing is, this isnt really a "horror" game, there are no monsters or supernatural stuff, its just the horrors of war, wich is a lot, lot worse.and the survival and recourse manegment is amazing, if your a fan of WW1 please give this a try, you'll thank me later

Great concept of a game and it really hits that survival horror itch we've so long been craving. There are two reasons I can't give it a 5 stars. 1: Rats need a nerf. They're too abundant and too frustrating to deal with. 2: Enemies are quite bullet spongey. This combined with the, albeit unique, precise and slow combat system makes the enemies feel like they don't fit in to the rest of the subtle details and realistic themes. (Realistic Details Such As: Longer Aim = More Precise Attacks. Shellshock Affecting Reticle Steadiness/Sway. Bolt Actions Need To Manually Be Cycled. Footstep Sound Effects Change Depending On Terrain. Etc.) Otherwise, I love everything else about the game. Definitely worth the $25 I paid for it. Indie Devs really are carrying gaming for me personally.

If you like survival horror games then youll like it! But only thing holding it back are the rats cause on the harder difficulties they will just make your experience frustrating especially when backtracking, not saying they should be removed but definitely need looked at. Also very spongey enemies even with upgraded weapons. But other then that its great
