Cronos: The New Dawn - Deluxe Edition

Review from a Survival Horror Fanatic. Is it gonna scratch the Dead Space itch? A bit, it honestly makes me want to play DS again. Is it as good as Bloober's Silent Hill 2 Remake? No but that's okay! It's a great step in the right direction for Bloober Team and it could be an awesome series. The Horror aspect for me personally needs improvement and that's with my headset loud enough to cause hearing loss. The combat 8/10. Setting 9/10. Atmosphere 8.5/10. Horror 7.5/10. It really shines with keeping the situation tense but falls a little short on the scares. Resource management for survival horror experts will be easy but for casual players decently difficult. Overall I'm enjoying it and I can't wait to see where Bloober Team goes from here. 9/10 for me.

Brutal? Absolutely. Visually and narratively interesting? 100%. Post-apocalyptic Poland, crawling with grotesque and horrifying abominations, low on resources, and full of intrigue and mystery. You'll probably die, a fair bit, but each time, pick up a bit of info about your foes and environment, and you'll see results when you use it to your advantage. Conserve ammo, but don't rely on melee, it's a last resort, unless you're skilled enough to make use of it. Don't panic, don't get cornered. Highly recommend for fans of Resident Evil, Dead Space, and Metro type games.

Looks really good. The sound design is top-notch. It feels like Dead Space meets the Silent Hill 2 Remake. But it’s hard, and there are no difficulty settings. The atmosphere is creepy and disgusting. Love it.

This game is a breath of fresh air its like the first dead space if you love that game this one's for you
