Drive on Moscow, a strategy game from the award-winning makers of Battle of the Bulge. Defend the homeland as the Soviets, or lead a bold push to seize the Soviet capital as the Axis.
Slitherine does it again! Old school, turn based wargame. If we could only get more games like this for XBOX One.
Worth the money.

Not Fully Functional
Drive On Moscow is a turn based strategy game taking place on the battlefields of Russia between the Soviet and Axis armies during WWII. Choose between playing either side as the Soviets who are defending and holding out for winter or as the Axis on the offensive. There is only the one map to play on but there is four scenarios to play on it. Three are shorter scenarios of the larger one which is the entire scenario in one go. There is unfortunately one really bad issue with this game. Playing as the Axis all works fine but as the Soviets, not so much. At the fifth set of turns on the game calendar and going forward to the end, the Soviet player may respawn previously destroyed units. That system works for the A.I. but is bugged for a human player. Even though you can go to briefing and see your destroyed units, the game won't let you deploy any during the deployment phase. With this broken feature, it is impossible to win as the Soviets so you're really only getting half a game.

I love and recommend this game, but...
This game is amazing. However there are some bad things about it. It’s Very RNG based. Essentially units have strength points, which determine how many times they can fire at an enemy. Stats are shown before a battle starts showing likely outcomes, bold colors w/ a number are how lkely it is you’ll hit the enemy that amount of times. Usually, you will only hit them 0-3 times even if 4 or 5 are your most bolded numbers. The map is divided into seperate regions, which you move troops into. You can have up to three units in one region. But there are a couple flaws in my opinon. You if you choose units to move, and finish moving them, you must wait until your next turn to move another unit in another territory. This is a very bad mechanic in my opinion and should be changed to where you can move two seperate units from different territories in one turn. Also, if you engage in a battle with an enemy unit, the troops that were in the battle are unavailable for 3 in game days.
