The Good The Bad And The Ugly.
As a Civ 5, and Civ 6 lover Civ 7 just leaves me asking "why". So first things first the Good on the Game. The Graphics are an upgrade from Civ 6. The new animations are a nice touch. One thing I am really enjoying is the new Army Commander system. The ability to control your armys in a new and unique way brings a nice twist to domination focused players, and expands the strategy aspect of the game. Now onto the bad stuff. The age changes in my opinion are aweful to the game since its more of you play 3 mini civ matches instead of 1, because every time the age changes you borderline get set back to having nothing. you keep your cities and SOME of your military units, but your economy and science get reset and you start over. Go back to the normal trading and Sc sytem. The Ugly of the game is that there are so few civilizations and NO TRUE START EARTH MAP. Which I imagine will be set behind a pay wall later. So in conclusion WHY change so much from civ 6 which was perfect and trash it.

Change isn't always better
This was a disappointment. My wife and I have loved the past Civ games, but this one has so many changes to it that it no longer even resembles the spirit of the series. The era system is beyond comprehension. First I was Rome, and then Ming, so naturally I suddenly become America in the Modern era....WHAT??? With all the new changes added we somehow end up with less options and less fun. I recommend not buying at full price.

Missing so much
No end game stats, no auto explore, religion is a joke... This does not feel like a complete game.

Meh
Ive played each civ since i was young, and to be honest after a few days im already looking for something else to do its just feels underwhelming, i used to rush home from school or work to continue my game from the day before, with this one i dont have that feeling at all its not all bad but it needs more work, id rather just play 6 but at this point ill try a different game until things change hopefully, i do not intend on preording a civ again,

Just buy civ 6
Absolutely no freedom in this game. I was basically hoping for civ6 without the awful mechanics but boy was i wrong! There is only one way to play this game and thats the devs. Which begs the question. Was this even play tested? Can i get a refund? I dont know what else to say , this game is poop
