A Pure Upgrade....Absolutely amazing
So excited to be HUNGRY.
In the two days that i've played this game after release i've gotten my a*s kicked by another peasant (Gave me PTSD from KCD 1), used a sheep named Ignacius as bait for wolves, got eaten by wolves, Ignacius was also eaten by wolves, reloaded save to save Ignacius, killed wolves, Victory Baaa'd with Ignacius.
I have also relearned new combat mechanics, they've changed since the first game but overall feels better and more fluid (Combo's are much easier, but master striking is much more risky but so damn satisfying).
I've done a variety of side quests such as, fist fighting, hunting wolves, brewing potions, plenty of combat, stealing items for people, saved a guy from wolves just to get jumped by poachers, and etc. Great side missions that didn't feel like fetch quests.
This is all before i've even done the first main mission. The game is just a pure upgrade from the first game.
P.S. I think warhorse could make an amazing realistic Pirate game just like KCD :)

A Masterpiece
This game is epic, pure and simple. The main story could be a blockbuster movie, and has it all for a medieval adventure: romance, swordfights, revenge, gigantic battles, betrayal, castle sieges, grand heists, court intrigue, and so much more, all set against the backdrop of an authentic recreation of 1400s Bohemia. Aside from the main story, the side quests are brilliant. There are no "go here, fetch this and come back" style quests. Every single side quest has some kind of interesting storyline full of twists and turns. I enjoyed every minute of this game, and can't wait to play through it again once hardcore mode comes out, not to mention the DLCs they have planned. This is a must play if you want an RPG worth sinking 100 hours into.
