Elite Dangerous Standard Edition

Developers decided to abandon this game on console. No future updates. Dead game. Can't recommend thanks to that decision.

This used to be one of my all-time favorites, but between Frontier's poor communication with the community over the last few years, Odyssey's botched PC release, and the surprise cancellation of Odyssey and further Horizon updates on consoles, I cannot recommend this title to anyone. I don't wish to migrate to PC if this is how the developer sees fit to manage a community-driven live service game.

Some of us pilots put so much love, time and effort into this game, this community, only to be given up on. Why? There was no real answer given, for consoles are on par with decent PCs now. Don't buy this game, it's gone.

Loved this game and was looking forward for the updates. But console version wont get any of the new content.

Just got out of almost a year stay in the hospital only to find out this game is no longer getting content. It's been completely abandoned. Way to go.
