Evergate

Graphics and are both good, but nothing we havnt seen before. The puzzle mechanic is fun and I don't recall seeing any other games with it. It is broken into chapters that you unlock by doing well in previous ones, and you unlock artifacts that give you boosts to help with harder challenges. Cant compare this to Hollow Knight or other Metoid-likes because it isn't one. You won't find any combat, but it is a solid puzzle platformer.

If you are thinking Ori, you'll stop thinking this is like Ori after a few levels, especially if you try to do the goals not just jet for the exit. I'm not very far in yet but I'm having fun with this. I couldn't see how this would be hard and so far it's tricky more than hard but can see it getting hard. This has a bit of puzzle elment to it though I would not say the game is a puzzle game nor what I have played being actual puzzles but if you like puzzle games, the slight puzzle feel is going to make it fun. The hardest part so far is getting used to the controls but they are simple controls, just a little different than expected, same with the darting off mechanic. It does get tricky and luckily you don't have to do all goals in a level at the same time. You can leave & it saves the ones there you did already. It's easy to see that this may get hard later in though. Reading isn't a must but I like what I've read from characters so far, that's a plus too. Music is relaxing.

Decent gameplay, lovely art style, and well worth playing.

Music is awesome but this is NOT Ori. You won't be able to collect everything due to its difficulty learning curve and timer stages (even with abilities), but the story is pretty interesting. I spent 30 hours into it and tried very hard to get everything. If u like puzzle stages like Super Meatboy, u will definitely enjoy this game. I give this game a 7 out of 10. Both Ori games, Blind Forest & Will O Wisp i gave 10 out 10, because i found all secrets, graphics, emotions, story, challenge and tight controls!!!

Excited for a new kind of game like this one. Thanks for the rec, BA!
