The City Must Survive -> The City Must Not Fall
A genuine sequel that expands upon the original. Whereas in [Frostpunk], you had to create paths, build steam hubs, make buildings, and basically tend to each and every citizen, usually to the count of several hundred. Here, buildings are automatically crafted and sorted- simplified as Districts, with a considerably increased amount of resources to take into account, and the population can climb to the hundreds of thousands. It's a beautiful game, where unlike the first where it focused on survival and resistance against extinction, and moreso about living and thriving with ideals. To put it plainly, the game is less microscaled, more macroscaled, and feels like a genuine sequel, instead of a High Quality update to Frostpunk 1. Play this game when you have the chance.

UI?
Man, is the UI a bear to wrestle with. It seems like there is a really good game in there but the UI actively works against you finding it.

Needs some TLC
Sometimes when you build districts and go to add buildings, a huge dark column shows up and doesn't fade even after the building is finished. It's giving Surviving the Aftermath.

The children, they yearn for the mines
Beautiful sequel. More interesting things added and the way resources work keeps late game interesting; instead of hitting that plateau once the struggle is over.
