Haunted House

As of 10-21-2024 Atari's Haunted House is actually outstanding! Put 2hrs into it (it's very impressive and a very layered experience) Not sure the state it was in at launch? It's a hybrid of ideas that work very good adventure with light Rouge elements & Stealth! (It's very much a parody of Luigi's Manson) But, considering the OG Haunted House (1982) had a thin story and a cheap presentation. It's a miracle this IP was given such a advanced facelift The game feels like a GameCube style game. I'm curious if any of the negative reviewers went back and revisited the game after the problematic launch? A lot has been fixed. This is the type of game that would've been a exclusive for Atari if the Jaguar didn't crash & burn 😢

AI appears to have been fixed. Game runs smooth without any problems

Every enemy knows where you are at. The devs expect you to be able to escape pursuing enemies with nowhere to hide! The sneak attack mechanics are broken and most of the time, just trigger the enemies to pursue you. I regret buying this even at a discount

you make it to the boss then you die. upgrade a tiny bit. make it to the boss and die. she follows you and forces you to wake up all the other ghosts in the level forcing you to die. repeat. make it to the boss. die. repeat. make it to the boss. die. repeat. this trash game is literally unplayable. you need to rethink this garbage game. i want a refund

All the enemies. Find you too easy . No where to hide . Should have a bi g fluid mansion. Too many gimmicks that are too easy or run enders due to random layouts and enemy placements.
