Lost Words: Beyond the Page

I'm a 40 year old dude and parts of this game had me crying Losing my grandmother, who was like a best friend, in 2018 really messed me up and this game made me realize I'm still not over her death. The pain never really goes away. You just learn to live with it.

This was a beautiful story to play through. Found myself feeling like I was looking into a mirror on more than one occasion and it really cut deep. That being said it is pretty obvious I am bias here. The game can seem a bit janky with the platforming, but plays fine beyond that. Here at the bottom I would like to thank the devs for this game. It really helped me work through some stuff I had avoided for a long while. Thank you

Not a second is wasted in this colorful journey where simple gameplay is combined with beautiful writing to create an introductory game for kids and a tearjerker for adults. I smiled, I cried, I reminisced. I LOVED it.

Cae for the achievements and left loving the story and related to the loss of a loved one. Voice acting was filled with emotion in a way to make you truly understand how the characters feel.

Great story. Takes you back to the memory of the first loved one that you lost. Hint follow thru to the end of the credits 😊
