Let your empathy guide you as you play an exciting action-adventure, creature saver game. Understand and tame the creatures of Ava and let them lead you through a variety of ecosystems – all in the hopes of saving the planet from a life-consuming infection.
Neeeded a little more time in the oven. Art style is fine. I would have loved more of the pretty animation like in the opening, for all the cut scenes. The story over all seems neat. The writing and voice overs are god awful. Think wvery time navi from OoT says hey listen, but then proceeds to small talk before getting to the point. But its everyone. And its pointless, and weak. Gameplay was ok. Game gate keeps, and painfully holds your hand. Jump ing and movement are blah, nothing special. Combat and puzzles are cool but its not that deep so far. Idc about the racist stuff ppl are saying. All that matters is the product. Not the how or why it was made. Gameplay matters Accessibility matters. Graphics matter. Sound and music matter.

Nightmare for completionists...
I wanted to love the game, the game wasn’t too hard or easy for me and there were no glaring issues aside from the occasional bug that could just be resolved by reopening the game. The real issues for me are the game completely locking you out of areas from the story(that contain collectibles), and the game incentivising you to try to rescue all the critters, even ones that you still need for unlocking areas nearby, some reason none of them ever respawn so if you sent all of them home or one got stuck somewhere, you better hope you saved before that, or you’re just gonna be perminantly locked out of 100%ing the game on that file, and there’s so many points where you can do that. So until they add some sort of way to respawn the critters, or go back to old areas, I won’t be playing it anymore.

Good for Casual Play
This game is fun if you want to sit down and catch critters. If you want to do collectables and 100 percent it, have a lot of patience or choose another game. I 100 percented all achievements and had to restart the game several times due to either glitches or the game locking me out.

Its a bit generic, not bad though.
The gameplay is smooth, the MC is aloof in a cute way. For what it is, its mechanics are unique. Im just not a casual game type player. The hate doesn't fly with me review wise. If you just want a chill game to discover new alien types its good enough to pass the time though the games short. About 10 hours to finish. Yes it has fall damage. No theres no spicy content(neither good nor bad) it could take more risks with its humor, its rather bland to be honest. Have a nice day.

Game design from hell
Sooner or later you will miss out on a collectible. Or a creature gets stuck and you think to yourself "alrighty, I will return later". Now here comes the genius idea of permanently blocking areas.
Yes. That's right. You're unable to visit areas after the story progresses and the developers response to this major issue on Steam is that "the game asks you before leaving an area". Bravo, devs! That's how you respond properly to the fact that your game effectively locks all future completion achievements if you don't finish the tedious collectibles.
Unbelievable.
