Dungeons Of Hinterberg

Amazing game I would of never tried or even heard of if not for Gamepass

Got 21 dungeons done. Fantastic game. Love the sense of progression and the puzzles. My only complaint is I wish the combat was more frequent. Could use more depth as well.

Sheesh they need to add a persons hours played to their reviews so we can sniff out the trolls. Anyways, onto my actual review. The gameplay is fun. The controls can feel clunky at times but not necessarily in a bad way. It feels familiar, like some of the older rpgs this game takes inspiration from. The main character has a lot of personality and its nice watching her nostalgia for a place she once knew set in as she realizes this place is wild and no longer the same family vacation spot she used to visit as a kid. The artstyle is cute. I'm glad they went with a cartoony stylized art style instead of going for realism. Remember kids, just because it's not Unreal Engine 5, doesn't make it bad. Overall a great game that feels familiar yet fresh, and hits all the marks the devs set out for. -1 star for no jump button

I had a lot of fun with this one. Simple gameplay, charmig story and characters. While I understand that this isn't everyone's cup of tea, give it a try.

I wish people would stop hating and bashing everything in life. If you would just try things you might actually enjoy it. Like this game.
